Overview

1. Introduction

Welcome to U-Go Airport Transfers & Charters ("we," "our," "us"). By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Definitions

We may collect and process the following personal information:

  • Customer: refers to any person booking or using our transportation services.
  • Service: refers to airport transfers, private charters, and other transport services offered by us.
  • Driver: refers to the individual operating the vehicle for your transfer.
  • Booking: refers to a confirmed transport request made via our website, phone, or email.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed via email or SMS upon successful payment or agreement.
  • Private rides are tailored to the Customer’s schedule and route preferences within the Garden Route.
  • Group bookings must provide accurate passenger counts and luggage details in advance


3.2 Payment

  • Full payment or a deposit must be made prior to the service.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, EFT (must clear 24 hours in advance), and cash (subject to driver discretion).

3.3 Pricing

  • Prices are subject to change based on distance, time, and service type. The final price will be confirmed before booking confirmation.

3.4 Cancellations & Refunds

  • 24+ Hours Before Pickup: Full refund.
  • 12-24 Hours Before Pickup: 50% refund.
  • Less than 12 Hours Before Pickup: No refund.
  • No-show: No refund will be issued.

4. Special Accommodations & Services

4.1 Flight Delays

  • We track flights and allow a 60-minute grace period for airport pickups at no extra charge. After this, a waiting fee applies.

4.2 Luggage Policy

  • Each passenger is allowed one standard suitcase and one carry-on. Additional luggage may incur extra charges.
  • Passengers are responsible for ensuring luggage complies with size and weight limits.
  • We are not liable for lost or damaged luggage unless due to negligence on our part.

4.3 Child Seats

  • Child Seats: Available upon request at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Punctuality: Customers must be ready at the pickup location at the scheduled time.
  • Behavior: Passengers must respect the driver and vehicle. Any damage caused by misconduct will be charged to the customer.
  • Alcohol & Smoking: Strictly prohibited in all vehicles. Violation may result in termination of service without refund.

6. Service Terms

6.1 Delays and Changes

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Route changes requested during the trip may incur additional charges.

6.2 Passenger Conduct

  • Passengers must behave responsibly and comply with driver instructions.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service or remove passengers engaging in disruptive or unsafe behaviour.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We strive to provide reliable and safe services, but we are not liable for: 
    • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen events.
    • Missed flights due to factors beyond our control.
    • Loss or damage to personal belongings.
    • Loss of life or personal injury.
    • Our vehicles have up to R5 million passenger liability insurance. 
  • Maximum liability is limited to the cost of the booked service.

8. Force Majeure

  • We are not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, road closures, or government restrictions.

9. Complaints & Disputes

  • Any complaints must be submitted within 48 hours of the service.
  • Disputes will first be resolved through direct communication, and if unresolved, they will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African law.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to our website.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
